The future has begun

ISO Week 2021 will seek to bring forward the discussions on how we can utilise international standards to accelerate the journey to a better world for us and future generations.

Our aim is for all of us to finish ISO Week 2021 with a renewed sense of purpose and set of realistic obtainable actions on how we can help ourselves and others to work towards the Sustainable Development Goals which are the blueprint to achieve a better and a more sustainable and inclusive future for all.

ISO President

Eddy Njoroge

Making lives easier, safer and better is not only our vision, but a big part of realizing the 2030 Global Agenda. At a time when sustainable infrastructure, multilateral trade and a common language are needed, we are reminded now more than ever that 'The future has begun'.

Scott Steedman

This year marks the 75th anniversary of the historic UN meeting in London which led to the foundation of ISO, which has a huge positive impact on the world, supporting economic growth and technological innovation. In the years ahead, ISO’s role will become even more important as the world strives to tackle the massive challenges of climate change, sustainable development and the digitalization of the global economy.
